Flipbook: Shannon-Weaver Model

The Shannon-Weaver Model of Communication breaks communication down to its fundamentals. In communication, there is a sender, a message, and a receiver. That message can be sent through a variety of channels – not limited to verbal methods. As graphic designers, our field deals primarily with visual communication through imagery as well as written word. This flipbook illustrates the Shannon-Weaver Model applied to a visual, graphic design-related scenario.
